The Tradition Continues and evolves…
Welcome to the 9th annual Westfield High School 5K Run for Scholarships. As our community experiences the successes of the last 10 years at WHS, the 5K run has become part of the tradition. Over the years, WHS 5K race has raised over $50K dollars towards scholarships for our graduates! This year we hope to continue the growth of that effort by providing even more scholarship monies to our students than ever before.
This years’ run is scheduled for Saturday morning, May 8, 2010 at 8:00am. The course is a certified 5K race through the ATFA and takes our runners and walkers through the beautiful Westfield Business Park in Centreville. While the race is certified for those race enthusiasts, it is just as fun for families and friends to come out and enjoy the outdoors and experience the thrill of being a part of our community tradition.
The success of this race depends on our community members and the support we receive from the local businesses such as yourselves. We hope we can count on you to help us continue this tradition by becoming a community sponsor or donor. We have many sponsorship opportunities available and of course, you know that the Westfield community frequents those establishments that support all efforts at Westfield High School. You and your employees can come help us on race day, enter the race and create some competition within your company, or just help us by sponsoring the event, donating a gift certificate or volunteering your help.
