Westfield HS All Night Grad Party 2008
According to the Virginia Operation Prom/Graduation Project, peer pressure is the highest for teens on prom night and graduation. Many students don’t feel that they have truly celebrated unless they have consumed alcohol or have used some type of drugs. The All Night Graduation Party (ANGP) celebration "provides a safe environment without alcohol, drugs, and tobacco."
This party will celebrate the successful completion of your student’s hard work and allow the graduate an opportunity to have a fun-filled evening in a safe environment. Therefore, the goal of the ANGP is to keep the graduates safe on their night of graduation.
The Class of 2008 numbers 800 Students. We will estimate that 75% of the students will attend this party which means we are planning a party for 600 students. The success of this celebration depends upon parent volunteers – lots of them. This event is planned by the parents with the support of the school and takes place at the school on the night of graduation.
