The team from Fairfax County is looking for a new principal for Westfield High School and they would like to include several community volunteers who are interested in helping with the search. The community members will serve on the principal selection panel, which will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Gatehouse Administrative Center in Falls Church. We ask that any community member that submits their name as a candidate to serve on the panel confirm availability for the entire day (7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.). The panel may not take the entire day, but in case it does, we want to be sure all are available for the entire process. Please email the PTSA President at Meglawless@cox.net for more information or to submit your name for the panel. Those selected for the panel will be contacted with further details.
There will also be an information session with Region Assistant Superintendent Frances Ivey at Westfield High School, on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting which is for staff and the community is to provide additional information regarding the principal selection process. We hope you can attend this important meeting.
Our first PTSA meeting will be held August 20th at 7pm in the Library. PTSA meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. Dates will be on the website.
