The ANGP provides a safe, alcohol-free environment for our celebrating seniors. The ANGP is financed separately by special events. Studies show that graduation night can be the most dangerous night of high school and the ANGP provides a fun and safe alternative to other graduation night activities. Read more.
Congratulations to the Westfield Band!
This past weekend at the VBODA State Music Assessment at Centreville High School, the Westfield High School Wind Symphony capped three days of spectacular performances at this event. The Westfield Concert Band, the Westfield Symphonic Band, and the Westfield Wind Symphony each received straight superior ratings from ALL of the judges. While other bands received overall ratings of Superior, the Westfield Band was the only group to have all of their groups receive such recognition.
This is the first time in the history of the school that all the bands received the top rating. With over 240 students involved in these performances, it is something to be proud of.
In addition, the Westfield band will once again be named A VIRGINIA HONOR BAND.
