Freshmen and New Student Orientation is tomorrow, Friday, August 29, from 8 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Bus transportation will be provided from Cub Run, Deer Park, Floris, McNair, London Towne and Virginia Run Elementary Schools.  Buses from each school will depart at 7:30 a.m. and return at approximately 12:30 p.m. 

Please remind your students to bring their class schedules with them to the orientation as students will be visiting their teachers and classrooms as part of the orientation.  Class schedules will be available for students who have not picked them up yet.  In addition, please remind your students to dress appropriately for school.  Per the 2014-2015 FCPS Student Rights & Responsibilities, clothing and accessories should not:

• Display vulgar, discriminatory, or obscene language or images
• Promote illegal or violent conduct
• Contain threats or gang symbols
• Promote the unlawful use of weapons, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or drug paraphernalia
• Expose cleavage, private parts, the midriff, or undergarments, and in the case of pants, the waistband should not fall below the hips
• Contain studs
• Include caps or other head coverings (bandanas, etc.) unless required for religious or medical reasons
