Thank you-Volunteers for BTSN and Bulldog Cafe: A huge thank you to Karen Lowe for organizing the fantastic Bulldog Café for faculty, staff, and parents. Thank you to those helping her: PJ Pisone, Tricia Monroe, and Cathy Pisarcik. Thank you to our amazing student volunteers who helped at the PTSA table during BTSN: Daryl Freeburn, Brennan Dolan, Brayden Hagemeier, and Kevin Ryman. Thank you to the Virginia Run Riptide swim team for loaning us their coolers for the Café.

Cell Tower Information Meetings: Milestone Communications will host a public meeting on Monday, October 1 at 7:00 pm in the Westfield HS Library to discuss the application to place a telecommunications facility/cell tower at Westfield HS. In addition, Milestone will attend the regularly scheduled PTSA meeting on Tuesday, October 9, to discuss the proposed project and answer questions. Westfield Football Fundraiser, Westfield Cross Country Fundraiser: Calling all burrito lovers.. foil your dinner plans and stop by the Chipotle at 5049 Westfield Blvd in Centreville. Mention the fundraiser and they will donate 33% of the proceeds to support the WHS Football and Cross Country Programs. Sept 24, 5-9pm (Football) Oct 1, 4-8pm (Cross Country)

Westfield / Centreville Financial Aid Night: Featuring Lisa Branson, Financial Aid Expert. Learn about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and receive other important financial aid information at this informative and timely presentation. Westfield Speech and Debate Club: Adult volunteers needed as judges on selected Saturdays during the school year. The ideal judge participated in speech or debate in HS or college, but training is available for any parents that have a desire to participate. Contact Mark Deaton at mdeaton@fcps.edu.
